Recently renovated boutique hotel with attentive staff. Excellent menu with melt-in-your-mouth steak. Magnificently furnished rooms, surprisingly quiet despite being above a bar. Easy check-in process, fresh and clean throughout. Convenient location near a supermarket and within walking distance of Salamanca Market and Battery Point.

the hotel was also within walking distance of downtown, making it a great base for exploring the city between my two hikes. the pub downstairs was a great spot to unwind, and the staff provided attentive service. the room was clean and well-furnished, and the bathroom was spotless. the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start my day, and the upper deck provided a beautiful view.
The noise from the road outside was a bit of a disturbance at night.

The hotel was clean and had a historic vibe, giving it a unique atmosphere. I also appreciated the basic but free breakfast and the convenient location within walking distance of the seafront. it was great value for money and I had everything I needed.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations! The value for money was outstanding, especially considering the central location on a very busy street. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The shared bathroom was surprisingly clean and well-equipped with good amenities. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the attention to detail in the room, such as the creaky bunk beds, added to the charm.
All was great, no improvements needed.
